Shakib Al Hasan, the captain of the Bangladesh cricket team, has been elected as a member of parliament representing the Awami League party in the general election held yesterday.
According to foreign media reports, Shakib Al Hasan, who contested from Magura-01 from Awami League Party, has won the general election with a majority of 1,50,000 votes.
