Saman Dissanayake, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Defense, has been appointed as the Acting Defense Secretary with effect from today (22).
In an announcement issued by the Presidential Secretariat, it is stated that this appointment has been made with effect until the date of Defense Secretary General Kamal Gunaratne’s return to the island.
