MP Vijitha Herath states that there is a threat to the life of MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake, the leader of National People’s power and Janata Vimukthi Peramuna.
He said that the members of his party will not get the police securitiy and even the official firearm provided by the government to a member of parliament and he mentioned that the best protection for the leaders of his party is among the people. He said that since their main enemy at the moment is the government, it is pointless to seek protection from the enemy.
He said this in an interview with an internet channel.
