It is reported that the Parliamentary Affairs Committee has decided to debate the motion of no confidence against the Speaker on Thursday 21st as well and accordingly the vote on the motion of no confidence will be held on Thursday 21st at 4.30 pm.
The proposal brought by the opposition, the adjournment debate on the problems related to farmers’ paddy purchase will be held on Friday 22nd from 12.30 pm to 6.00 pm.
This morning, the activities of the Parliament were severely disrupted due to the protest done by tamil M.P s of TNA regarding the police arresting a group pilgrimage at a religious shrine in Vavuniya.
