Police said that an employee of the Civil Aviation Authority was hacked to death at the Kahathuduwa interchange on the Southern Expressway this afternoon.
It is learned that she was killed by a group of people who came from a car while she was going home after her work. She was seriously injured and died when she was rushed to the hospital.
A 39-year-old mother of one has been killed.
