The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) said that more than 25,000 tourists visited Sri Lanka in the first 4 days of this year. 25,619 tourists have come from January 1st to 4th.
The largest number of tourists came from Russia at 5,060 followed by India at 3,333.
According to SLTDA, a significant number of tourists have also come from Germany, Britain, Australia, China, France, the Netherlands and the United States. The total number of tourists who came to Sri Lanka last year is said to be 1,487,303.
