Russia has launched a fierce missile attack on the capital of Ukraine and several other cities.
Foreign media reported that at least 18 civilians were killed and 132 injured in the series of attacks on residential buildings in Kyiv and Odesa and other cities in the west and south this morning.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said Russia had launched approximately 110 missiles during the attack. “Today, Russia used almost every type of weapon in its arsenal and they attacked civilian targets, including a maternity hospital, educational center, residential apartments,” Zelenskiy said in a statement on his social media channels.
“We certainly respond to terrorist attacks. And we will continue to fight for the safety of our entire country, every city and every citizen. “Russian terror must and will disappear,” added the Ukrainian president.
