Britain’s Princess Anne, who arrived in Sri Lanka this morning on a three-day official visit, met President Ranil Wickremesinghe a few moments ago.
The meeting between the British Princess and President Ranil Wickremesinghe took place at the Presidential Palace and Princess Anne’s spouse, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Lawrence, was also present at the event, according to Janadhipati’s media wing.
The British Princess’s visit to Sri Lanka is taking place on the occasion of 75 years since diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and Britain began.
