A.K.D surprise the opposition.

It is reported that the general opinion of the opposition is that it is problematic that Anura Kumara Dissanayake, the leader of the National People’s power, did not take the initiative to comment in the Parliament during the debate on the removal of Janaka Ratnayake, Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission.

In the debate held yesterday in Parliament, while other opposition party leaders had expressed their views against the removal of the chairman of the Public Utilities Commission, MP Vijitha Herathri had made the comments on behalf of the National People’s Power.

Many are asking whether Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s silent stance on this issue means that he approves of the action taken by the government.
