It is reported that a cabinet paper is to be presented tomorrow to get the legal authority to call investors to cultivate cannabis as a medicine.
Ayurveda State Minister Sisira Jayakodi mentions that cannabis cultivation is expected to be legalized only for export. He further to said that locally cultivated cannabis is only exported for medicinal purposes and said that all plantations are to be cultivated only in the lands belonging to the B.O.I
Many investors have already come forward to grow Cannabis, and related State Minister Sisira Jayakodi mentioned that most of the preliminary works have been completed.
