The Satyagraha initiated by a group of Buddhist monks at Viharamahadevi Park in Colombo to demand the release of Ven. Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thero continues today (25), marking its 10th day.
This satyagraha (peaceful protest) was initiated by Buddhist monks who arrived at Viharamahadevi Park on the 16th; they, along with others, have remained on the premises ever since. The monks participating in the protest state that they will not leave this location until Ven. Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thero is released.
