The value of the Sri Lankan Rupee depreciated further against the US Dollar today (07).
At People’s Bank, the dollar buying rate rose from Rs. 326.53 to Rs. 326.92, while the selling rate increased from Rs. 334.62 to Rs. 335.03.
At NDB Bank, the buying rate, which stood at Rs. 326.25, [moved to] Rs. …was raised to 326.50, while its selling rate increased from Rs. 335.25 to Rs. 335.50.
At Seylan Bank, the US Dollar buying rate rose from Rs. 326.35 to Rs. 326.60, and the selling rate increased from Rs. 335.60 to Rs. 335.80.
Commercial Bank also reported an increase in both rates; its buying rate rose from Rs. 324.59 to Rs. 324.84, and the selling rate increased from Rs. 334.50 to Rs. 334.75.
