The Colombo Magistrate’s Court today ordered that the wife of former Minister Sarana Gunawardena—arrested on suspicion regarding a bribery incident—be remanded until October 6.
Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama issued the remand order after considering submissions made by officials from the Bribery Commission and the lawyers representing the suspect.
