The Ministry of Education states that measures are being taken to release the results of the competitive examination for recruiting graduates into the teaching service before the end of this month. A total of 163,433 candidates sat for the examination held on May 24, and based on the results, 23,000 graduates are set to be recruited into the teaching service. Interviews for these recruitments are scheduled for October, with appointments to be issued in December.
The recruitment plan includes 15,000 graduates currently employed in the public sector and another 8,000 recruited on an open basis. Additionally, 6,500 diploma holders from National Colleges of Education are scheduled to be recruited into the teaching service by February of next year.
