The Sri Lankan team qualified for the Women’s Asia Cup final yesterday (11) by defeating Pakistan by four wickets.
Invited to bat first after Sri Lanka won the toss, the Pakistan team scored 130 runs for the loss of five wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
Chasing a target of 131 runs for victory, the Sri Lankan team secured the win in 18.4 overs, losing only six wickets. Consequently, Sri Lanka is set to compete in the final against India this coming Sunday (13).
