Veteran singer Priyankara Perera has passed away, family sources say. He had been ill for some time and was undergoing treatment at the Colombo National Hospital when he died last night (01), the sources further said.
Priyankara Perera, who was 64 years old at the time of his death, was also a popular actor. Priyankara Perera, the son of renowned singer J. A. Milton Perera, is the husband of film and television actress Dilhani Ashokamala.
Priyankara and Dilhani’s son Dilmin Perera is also a new generation singer.
