Parliamentarian Ravi Karunanayake, who was arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, has been released on bail.
He was arrested after appearing before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption and was produced before the Colombo Additional Magistrate this afternoon (31). The Magistrate, after considering the arguments of the lawyers of both parties, ordered the release of Parliamentarian Ravi Karunanayake on bail. A travel ban has also been imposed on the MP.
