The International Cricket Council has fined Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sri Lankan fast bowler Asitha Fernando in connection with an incident in the second Test of the Indo-Lanka Test series currently being held under the World Test Championship.
The fines have been imposed in connection with an incident of inappropriate physical contact in the second Test match between India and Sri Lanka. Both players have been fined 25% of their match fees by the International Cricket Council without further investigation, following their admission of guilt.
