It is reported that the number of dengue patients reported so far this year has increased to 81,511, and the number of deaths has increased to 61.
So far in July, 26,136 dengue patients have been reported, which is the highest number of patients reported in a month this year.
The Western Province has reported the highest number of dengue patients in the past period. The number is 43,132. The National Dengue Control Unit also states that there are currently 175 high-risk zones across the island.
