A clash has broken out between a group of Chinese nationals near the suspension bridge in Colombo Port City. It is reported that three Chinese nationals have been abducted following the clash.
Two of the three abducted Chinese nationals have been abandoned at a nearby location, while no information has been received about the other Chinese national. Meanwhile, a body suspected to be that of a Chinese national has been found in a forest area in Eheliyagoda. Police are investigating whether the blindfolded body is that of the Chinese national who was abducted this morning.
Three Chinese nationals arrived at the Port City premises at around 11:00 last night and were fishing from the suspension bridge. Later, at around 2:00 this morning, a group of 15 Chinese nationals who arrived in a luxury van attacked and abducted the three.
