The number of dengue patients reported in the country has increased to 1069 in the past 24 hours, said Dr. Kapila Kannangara, Director of the National Dengue Control Unit.
The total number of dengue patients reported in the country so far has increased to 45,037 and the death toll has increased to 28.
Symptoms of Dengue Fever -:
High fever, vomiting/nausea, headache, neck pain, pain under the eyes. Redness of the face and upper body (easily visible in people with fair skin). Small blood under the skin (red spots and minor bleeding conditions).
If the fever persists for more than two days, consult a qualified doctor.
