Sri Lankan woman injured in Lebanon attack

A Sri Lankan woman has also been reported to have suffered minor injuries in Israel’s airstrikes on Lebanon last night. The Sri Lankan embassy in Beirut said the woman is currently in good health.

Israel launched nearly 100 airstrikes on Lebanon in a span of 15 minutes, killing 254 people and injuring 1,165 others. Lebanese health officials say the death toll has risen because the attacks were carried out without any prior warning.

Israel said yesterday that it supports the Iran-US ceasefire but that the ceasefire will not affect attacks targeting Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon.
