The Midigama Chuti, who was caught in Oman, is being brought back to Sri Lanka.

Rajapaksa Pathiranalage Prabath Madusankha, also known as Midigama Chuti, who is considered to be a member of an organized crime gang and an active member of an international drug network, has reportedly been brought to Sri Lanka from Oman today.

He had been charged in several courts in Sri Lanka with a number of charges including murder, robbery, possession of firearms, and drug trafficking, and was hiding abroad after avoiding justice. He was arrested in Oman recently and was brought to the island by a team of special police officers this morning (30).

Sri Lanka had issued an international red notice for the arrest of Midigama Chuti, and he was arrested by the country’s security forces while staying at a luxury hotel in Oman.
