”Get your guns ready.” An order to Marine Corps soldiers

In light of the potential impact on national security from global events, Lieutenant General Leonard F. Anderson, commander of the U.S. Marine Corps and Marine Corps Southern Command, has ordered his troops to be ready to enter the battlefield at any time.

In the letter, he emphasizes that the present is a critical moment for national security. He points out that military groups are already involved in operations related to Iran and that troops have been deployed to maintain stability in the Western Hemisphere.

Addressing several direct questions to the troops, the general said that every soldier should responsibly check whether his military equipment and personal belongings are ready when called for an immediate operation.
