It is reported that a discussion is underway at the Ministry of Justice between the Minister of Justice and National Integration, Attorney-at-Law Harshana Nanayakkara, and representatives of the European Union regarding the new anti-terrorism bill.
The Minister has explained to the representatives of the European Union that public comments and suggestions on the bill can be sent to the Secretary of the Ministry until February 28th, and that further work will be taken on the new anti-terrorism bill after positive consideration of the comments and suggestions.
The discussion held yesterday (10) was attended by several high-ranking officials, including the Acting Managing Director for Asia and the Pacific of the European External Action Service (EEAS), Paola Pampaloni.
