Considering the severe disaster situation caused by the adverse weather conditions prevailing across the country, the Commissioner General of Examinations has issued a special announcement stating that the 2025 General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (G.C.E. A/L) examination scheduled to be held today and tomorrow (27, 28) will not be held.
Accordingly, a notice has been issued to Provincial Education Directors, Zonal Education Directors, Regional Assembly Center Officers, Coordinating Officers and Principals informing them of this.
The Examinations Department stated that the subjects scheduled for November 27th and 28th will be re-scheduled and new dates will be announced later.
Furthermore, the relevant officers have been instructed to pay special attention to the security of the examination papers stored at the coordination centers during this period.
