A horrific road accident has occurred when a bowser transporting fuel collided with a lorry near the Mirigama entrance of the Central Expressway.
Two people have died in the accident and another injured person is receiving treatment at the Wathupitiwala Hospital.
The driver of the lorry died on the spot in the accident that occurred at around 11 pm last night. The assistant of the bowser, who was injured, died while being taken to the hospital.
The driver of the bowser, who was injured, has been admitted to the Wathupitiwala Base Hospital.
