Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Mujibur Rahman has accused Seevali Arukgoda, who has been appointed as the new Director General of Sri Lanka Customs, of being involved in a recent container scam.
He said that the committee that investigated the controversial “red label” container issue incident had also indicted Seevali Arukgoda.
“How can a person who has been indicted through an official investigation be given such a high position?” he asked at a media briefing.
