A shooting incident was reported in the Hirana area of Panadura this morning (11), in which one person was injured, police said.
According to the police, an unknown person broke a window of a house in the Malamulla area of the Hirana police division and shot and fled.
A 32-year-old resident of the Malamulla area who was injured has been admitted to the Panadura Hospital for treatment. Police are conducting further investigations to arrest the suspects and establish the reason behind the incident.
