Police sources say that three children drowned in Karuappankarni lake in Wakkare yesterday afternoon.
The deceased are two girls and one boy. Police say that the deceased are in the age group of 10 and 11 years.
The bodies of the three drowned children have been recovered and the Wakkare Police OIC is conducting further investigations.
