President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who is on an official visit to Germany, met with the Sri Lankan community living in Germany yesterday (13) afternoon. The meeting, which was organized by Sri Lankans living in the country, was attended by a number of Sri Lankan businessmen, investors and professionals.
President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who attended the event, was warmly welcomed by the Sri Lankans in the country. Addressing the gathering, the President said that we should work together for a prosperous state.
The President also appreciated the contribution of Sri Lankans living abroad and pointed out that a stable start is now being made to rebuild the collapsed state. Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Vijitha Herath also expressed his views on the occasion.
