Australian Deputy Prime Minister arrives in Sri Lanka.

Australian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Richard Marles has arrived in the island on an official visit. The group was received by Deputy Minister of Public Security Sunil Watagala and a group of officials.

A delegation consisting of 15 people including the Australian Deputy Prime Minister arrived at the Katunayake Airport last night (02) in a special aircraft belonging to the Australian Ministry of Defense.

The visit of the Australian Deputy Minister will focus on further strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing security cooperation between the two countries.
