Sri Lankan wicketkeeper Kusal Mendis is set to replace Jos Buttler in Gujarat Titans’ squad for the 2025 Indian Premier League.
Buttler will be out of the tournament after the league stage as he is set to play in the upcoming Test series against the West Indies.
Mendis is expected to represent the Titans in the playoffs of the tournament. Mendis is currently playing for Quetta Gladiators in the 2025 Pakistan Super League. With the PSL set to end on May 25, it is said that Kusal Mendis will be able to join the IPL playoffs, which begin on May 29, without any problems.
