The Ministry of Defense says that 2,325 soldiers, including officers, who had deserted from the tri-forces have been arrested. They were arrested in operations conducted from February 22nd to yesterday.
The report says that among those arrested are 2,017 from the Army, 145 from the Navy and 163 from the Air Force. In addition, the police have arrested 281 more tri-forces members.
