Easter Attack Mastermind Revealed

A detailed affidavit submitted by the US government to the US District Court for the Central District of California has clearly named the mastermind of the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks as none other than Saharan Hashim.

The affidavit was submitted by FBI Special Agent Merrilee R. Goodwin on December 11, 2020, based on a large-scale investigation conducted by the US FBI after the Easter attacks, the Sri Lanka Guardian website reported. It presents a detailed analysis of this with forensic analysis, social media reports, and evidence.

Another important point in this affidavit is that the names of three people involved in this terrorist act have been provided. Namely, Mohammad Naufar, Mohammad Anwar Mohammad Rizkan, and Ahmad Milhan Hayatu Mohammad. They have been charged with providing support to a terrorist organization, and receiving terrorist training. Naufar, considered the “second in command,” organized recruitment, propaganda, and formal training sessions, the F.B.I. has indicated.
