Sri Lanka beats South Africa in Masters League

The Kumar Sangakkara-led Sri Lankan cricket team defeated South Africa by 7 wickets in the Masters League tournament being held in India.

Batting first in the match held in Mumbai, the Jacques Kallis-led South African team scored 180 runs for the loss of 6 wickets at the end of 20 overs.

Chathuranga de Silva and Isuru Udana took two wickets each.

In reply, the Sri Lankan cricket team won the match by scoring 183 runs for the loss of 3 wickets at the end of 17 overs and 02 overs.

Asela Gunaratne scored an unbeaten 59 runs and Chinthaka Jayasinghe scored an unbeaten 51 runs.
