A meeting between Presidential Secretary Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake and Vietnamese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Trinh Thi Tam was held at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (21).
Discussions were held on further strengthening the existing diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and Vietnam, and extensive discussions were held on the development projects currently underway in Sri Lanka with the assistance of Vietnam and the projects to be implemented in the future.
The Ambassador stated that Vietnam is ready to share its experiences with Sri Lanka in the agricultural and tourism sectors and in relation to investment promotion.
