The Public Utilities Commission has approved the request of the Ceylon Electricity Board for a one and a half hour power cut per day to manage the system until the Norochchola power plant is reactivated and electricity generation is resumed.
Accordingly, this power cut has been planned under five time periods under 20 categories, two times per day.
