The Police Media Spokesperson’s Office confirmed that Yoshitha Rajapaksa, the second son of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today.
He was arrested by officers of the Criminal Investigation Department in the Beliatta area. The arrest was made in connection with a recent questioning of him regarding a land in the Kataragama area.
Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa also gave a statement to the Criminal Investigation Department in this regard recently.
