It is reported that the names of four people have been sent to the Election Commission for the Samagi Jana Balawegaya national list MP post. They are Mano Ganeshan, Sujeewa Senasinghe, Nisham Kariyapper and MIM Mohamed.
The Colombo District Court today issued an interim order not to send the national list MP list to the Election Commission without the name of Muslim Congress Secretary Nisham Kariyapper.
Although it was previously said that a national list MP post would be given to Hirunika Premachandra, it is reported that the decision has been changed due to the influence of a powerful media outlet.
