President Anura to visit India on December 16th .

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is scheduled to leave for India on December 16th as his first official visit, according to reports. Political sources say that he is scheduled to visit China after that.

During these two visits, attention is expected to be paid to restarting projects that were started with the assistance of the two countries and have now stopped, attracting investments and restructuring debts, according to Foreign Affairs Minister Vijitha Herath.

During the visit to India, a memorandum of understanding is expected to be signed between the two countries, and it is reported that more attention will be paid to attracting investments in the energy sector.
