An officer in charge of polling stations dies

A woman who worked as an officer in charge of a polling station has died due to a sudden heart attack.

The police mention that a forty-eight-year-old unmarried woman who was working at the polling station located at Kasbewa Polhena Siri Sadaham Bhikshuni Monastery has died.

She had been on duty there since yesterday morning and had a sudden heart attack while staying in a room of the monastery in the afternoon.

She was rushed to the hospital for treatment, but the doctors said that she had already died.
