The Railway Department says that the train service from Colombo Fort to Kankasanturaya will start from tomorrow (28).
With the completion of the modernization work of the railway between Mahava and Anuradhapura, it has been decided to start the running of the Northern Railway. As train services resume on the Northern Railway, the Department of Railways advises the public to exercise caution while using railway crossings.
