Anuradhapura police say that W.B Ekanayake, a former minister, died in the bathroom of his home.
He is also the Anuradhapura district organizer of the United National Party and is ready to contest this year’s election.
Hospital sources said that the cause of his death could be sudden cardiac arrest. The police also stated that he was living alone at the time of his death.
