South Africa into Semi-Finals.

The South African team managed to break the expectations of the host West Indies to enter the Twenty20 World Cup semi-finals yesterday. It was with South Africa winning the West Indies team by three wickets in yesterday’s Super Eight round match.

The west Indian team scored 135 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their 20 overs. But taking the interruption of the match by rain as a template, South Africa’s winning target was reduced to 123 runs in 17 overs according to the Duckworth Lewis theory. They pulled off the win with 5 balls to spare.
