It is reported that two people traveling in a three-wheeler have lost their lives in a shooting by a group of individuals who arrived from a car in Moragahahena, Talgahawila area.
According to police sources, those who were injured in the shooting attack were already deceased when they were admitted to Horana Hospital.
The deceased are two individuals aged 50 and 52, residents of Piliyandala and Pannipitiya areas. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the shooting and to apprehend the suspects involved.
