An Indian tourist who fell into a cliff more than 100 meters deep in the area of Ratnapura – Sripada road has been rescued by a group of officers from Maskeliya police special task force camp.
This tourist Bharat Chandradas (25), who came from Maharashtra to Sri Lanka, fell down the cliff from the safety fence at around 5.A.M this morning while he was going to Sripada along the Ratnapura road with several others.
Based on information received from the Udamalwa police station, the police special task force came to the spot and rescued the tourist and after giving first aid, he was taken to the hospital.
