A complaint has been filed with the Commission to Investigate Bribery or Corruption against former MPs Nandana Gunathilaka and Udaya Gammanpila.
The complaint, filed yesterday by the Citizens’ Power Against Bribery, Corruption and Waste, alleges that Nandana Gunathilaka and Udaya Gammanpila have insulted the Director General of the Bribery Commission, Ranga Dissanayake.
The complaint states that the statements made by the former MPs have insulted the Director General of the Bribery Commission and that it is considered an insult to the Commission under Section 118 of the Anti-Corruption Act, No. 9 of 2023.
