The Colombo Crimes Division informed Fort Magistrate Isuru Neththi Kumara that it will file an indictment against the General Secretary of the Bodu Bala Sena Organization, Galagoda Atthe Gnanasara Thero, for making statements that were offensive to the Quran and Islam during a media conference held by the organization.
The police also informed the court that this step is being taken in accordance with the instructions given by the Attorney General.
