Kompanjaveediya police said that a Chinese man fell from the 8th floor of a housing complex under construction at Union Place, Kompanjaveediya, and died of his injuries.
This Chinese man, who worked as an assistant engineer in that construction, met with this accident yesterday evening. He met with this accident while monitoring the work of the building under construction.
He was seriously injured and died when he was admitted to the Colombo National Hospital, hospital officials said.
